Original artwork description:

Desert Bot is one from my new series of hybrid robots fashioned from vintage images that were once tools, machinery or mechanical parts where I create an imaginary past of an imaginary future.

While this bot looks cobbled together as if an extra in a Mad Max film, he's built to last using upcycled original vintage ephemera and considerately arranged using acid free glue and flat mounted onto an A4 off white archival paper.

The recycling side of collage feels all the more prevalent in this piece and a visual response to the world now as technology and AI evolves and changes everything at lightening speed.
Science Fiction seems more like Science FACTion more than ever.

Presented in a deep box frame in black with real glazing, this art is ready to hang and will be shipped securely in a box with tracking. A signature will be required on receipt of delivery.
