If you have followed my artwork for a while, you will know that I reside in the North East of England have painted this beautiful place for many years. I will always continue paint this place as it was, as it has always been such a huge inspiration. Here we find ourselves surrounded by summer light. The light is so beautiful at the moment up in Northumberland and this beautiful tree would have been in full bloom. Blues and Greens, sing with earthy umber tones. Wonderfully dreamy, just like a daydream. Beautiful to remember this place and enjoy all year round.

The paintings are created intuitively from imagination and memories. Each piece is a beautiful surprise at the end. Expressive marks, using an array of media, oil paints, inks and oil pastel form quickly on the surface, to bring the piece to life, capturing light and colour.
