My painting of a Cafe au Lait Dahlia aims to capture the delicate beauty of the flower in full bloom. The flower is rendered in soft muted dusty pinks, with petals that curl and curve. Capturing the intricate details of the flower, from the subtle variations in colour.

This is the prettiest of all the Dahlias, often known as dinner plate Dahlia due to their huge flower heads.
