In this large-format work, 140 x 100 cm, I wanted to merge the power of nature with a sense of inner calm. The painting is created with acrylics using a palette knife and layered brushstrokes, which build a rich texture that shifts beautifully under different lighting.

I worked with deep shades of blue and turquoise, soft beige and grey tones, and warm accents of burnt umber. These contrasting yet harmonious colors evoke the meeting of water and earth — the dynamic flow of movement paired with stability.

White strokes form a dividing line, almost like a stream of light, connecting the opposing elements. This brings balance and energy to the canvas, making it a striking focal point in any interior.
