Original artwork description:
This painting captures the setting sun from a Cornish beach. Originally painted toward the end of 2024 in a sketchbook, initially from plein-air, it has now been framed in a lovely Edin moulding, which brings out the colours of the painting, highlighting the purples, blues and mauves, with the yellow colours coming though, heightening the view seen and painted.
