"Clouds - landscape #6 ", oil on masonite MDF panel, 20X20 cm
One of my most favorites of this series of "clouds-landscape". Thes small size artworks are done with thin layers of oil painting, in a gestural way. It gives a contemporary aspect to this classical subject and I really love this "loose" painting aspect. It's my artistic personality that emerge, painting after painting, year after year of working, searching, trying.... This loose aspect is a choice.
Once again, I've used pareidolia to guide, inspire me. I let forms and colors guide me. So, my landscapes are born.
In this one, I was interested by rendering the grey cloud mass as an object in the sky. The painting is mostly in blue grey tones, and dark green. But there's also touches of yellow ocher and natural sienna brown.
The artwork is painted on a thick gessoed pannel of masonite (MDF). Edges are painted in white. The artwork is ready to hang.
This handmade artwork will be delivered with an invoice and a signed certificate of authenticity. Shipping carefully packed, insured and tracked.
