Original artwork description:

This spot lies on the southern end of Laguna’s Main Beach. The morning light streamed in from the upper right, while nearby buildings cast long shadows where I was set up to paint. Since the hurricane, the surf has been especially rough, and with the high tide that day, I had to keep a close watch on the shoreline to keep my easel and gear from getting soaked.
