This drawing shows my favorite central neighborhood in Kyiv, featuring a stunning modernist building.
The hands in my works are an echo of the Byzantine iconographic tradition. Refined, elongated, and with clearly defined gestures, they resemble sacred signs that in ancient art conveyed blessing, prayer, and spiritual dialogue. In the composition, the hands seem to frame and protect the space.
