Clamoring to the top of the slabs of rock along the Blue Ridge Parkway, I am often overcome by the wonderful lightness of being. It's like you can touch the sky; the clouds; the atmosphere itself. The short, hair-like cirrus clouds found at high altitudes were so wispy, silky and delicate. In the daytime, they are whiter than any other cloud in the sky. This painting is framed mixed media including acrylic, gold, silver and copper.
