Artist's description:

This painting of a Chestnut Hill estate's gates and wall which have fascinated many artists and photographers in our area. Here is my take on a lovely fall day, the multicolored leaves scattered across the brick driveway, the sweet aura of decay on the walls and the patina of the gates. The stucco walls are stained with mold and dampness but the lamps are polished like new. I would love to see them lit and capture the shadows and glow of the deco lamps at night. Another project for another time.
This painting is 24" x 12" and can be the completion of my first Seasons Series however, I expect additional paintings in another Seasons Series to come! I can return to this elemental often.

Materials used:

Canvas on wood stretchers, acrylic paints, ink, gell varnish
