Every time I visit the Owls Head Lighthouse I pass these birches. Over the last 30 years I have watched them grow from saplings to the mature birches that I now love. I have painted them before and hope to do so again. This painting is the one that I feel expresses what i see and feel. They are organic...rooted to the Earth with such beauty. Can you see the energy coming from them and all around them? I framed this painting which I painted a few years ago. It is special.
