This is a work with earthy colors and a rather dark appearance. Two wide, sinuous ribbons intertwine, three of their ends extending beyond the frame. The texture is created from book pages cut into thin strips and glued together like the steps of a staircase. Covered with paint, they resurface thanks to delicate sanding, which gives the material a patina.
