This painting is a bit of a love letter to Lake Como in the spring. The soft white flowers, the hazy light on the water, and the rooftops tucked into the hillside, it's all just so peaceful and nostalgic. I painted it entirely with a palette knife, letting the texture do the talking with a ton of impasto layers.
