As winter arrives, color gets a little rare which is why I enjoy painting radishes with their bright colours.
I love painting things straight out of my pantry.
I occasionally return to still life, esecially in the cold winter months.
I painted this bowl of mandarines from direct observation one morning in my studio in Umbria Italy.
