This work is part of the series dedicated to the city of Madrid. Cities are timeless in some aspects and on the other hand they undergo continuous changes. The famous Puerta del Sol, which appears here in one of its previous states, is an example of how an iconic place in a city changes over the years; just like the ladies who stroll and who today we would be surprised to see on the street. What does not change are things like the Manila shawls, the flowers, and the daring women eager to live and enjoy everything that a great city can offer them.
