A route I often take through London is down the busy thoroughfare of Berwick Street, with its market, cloth and coffee shops. Soho feels energetic at any time of day or night, and somehow quite comforting, perhaps because there's always a place to stop and eat or drink. This is a view looking north with the famous Borovick's fabric shop on the right, close to the excellent Flat White coffee shop. Washes and dry brush create the atmosphere of a wet early autumn afternoon.

This painting is framed and is ready to hang on a wall or can be free-standing.
