This painting was inspired by a gift from my a friend after his visit to family in Mexico. Missing our home, she brought back traditional clay Mexican plates and the pitcher featured in the painting. She also gifted me my favorite flowers, lilies. I decided to create this portrait in memory of my beloved home in Mexico, which I miss dearly. It represents the vibrant, colorful, and united culture we cherish and love.
