I visited this area in the early summer with nearly Sixty artist friends.
It was lovely to be painting together, despite about four days of almost constant rain.
I chose this place near Beddgelert because of its fast flowing river and tree lined valley, alongside the road.
To shelter from the rain, I set up beneath the trees to paint the river.
It measures 10” x 14” unframed it is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Isn’t it great, being sheltered under the trees while it’s raining? The smell of the wet leaves, the rushing water, the fresh air! It’s why I love to paint directly from nature.
