Across this life-size canvas (146 × 97 cm) translucent acrylic drifts like water-colour, capturing a hush of bathroom air: bare feet on cool tiles, a beloved cotton shirt brushing warm skin, a towel still breathing steam, soft garments waiting on their hangers. Everything is 100 % cotton—pure, breathable, true.

Though I painted the scene from my own reflection, I meant it for every gentle morning we share. Hang it where dawn slips in, and let its weightless layers remind you to meet each new day softly, wrapped in tenderness and something unmistakably real.

In her current series, Tanna explores the intimacy of a woman’s everyday moments,
capturing simple gestures imbued with profound meaning. By portraying herself as
the model, she seamlessly fuses the roles of creator and subject, transforming her
body into both material and medium. This approach is born of necessity rather than
constraint, as no other model could embody the envisioned gestures and postures
with such accuracy and proximity. Through this deeply personal method, she invites
viewers to connect with a shared emotional experience, resonating with the inner
lives of women everywhere.

Tanna’s creative process is guided by spontaneity and intuition, with a carefully
chosen color palette. Shades of blue dominate her figures, symbolizing the depth and fragility of human intimacy. These dreamlike hues contrast with the warm tones of her backgrounds, evoking a duality between a rich, emotional inner world and an often distant, colder outer world.
