Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Dramatic red and white linocut inspired by Arthurian mythology.

"And Merlin prophesied to Vortigern King of the Britons: The red serpent is your dragon, but the white serpent is the dragon of the Saxons, who occupy several provinces and districts of Britain, even almost from sea to sea. One day our people shall rise and drive the Saxon race beyond the sea whence they have come."

I have depicted the dragons in the throes of their battle, coiled around each other like Yin and Yang.
