Artist's description:

Mixed Media Mobile Art/Digital Printmaking

This work is part of a series that addresses issues faced by American housewives as the "war on women" continues to rage on, quietly, across the land.

It was one of 50 prints juried into the prestigious 2016 Pacific States Biennial North American Print Exhibition now underway at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. The juried exhibition was established by the UH Hilo Art Department Print Studio in 1982. The 2016 PSBN includes entries from artists 18 years or older from North America and U.S. Territories. This year’s juror was Lloyd Menard, professor emeritus at the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. Menard has given over 70 workshops in prints and handmade paper throughout the United States and Europe. His artwork has been shown in over 350 juried and invitational exhibitions and is part of over 450 university, college, corporate and museum collections. He has been honored with Mid-America Print Council’s Outstanding Printmaker Award and received numerous awards during his 30 years of teaching at USD Vermillion.

It is an edition of 5 plus one artist proof, hand-signed and numbered on versa, with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticy. It is printed full-bleed by me on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth Matte Fine Art Paper with Epson Ultra-Chrome Pigment Inks.
