The overworked image of queen Elizabeth shows the new character eating her own hand. On her wrist are the words “EAT STORY” in reference to the many hidden African histories untold.
When I first began printing images of the queen onto the dictionary pages I wasn't aware that the book was a German dictionary. Synchronicity playfully draws attention to the irony and part German heritage of the queen.
