This is one of my favourite paintings using this medium. These pouring paints create the most beautiful patterns as they blend in to each other, and I really felt that they lent themselves to the coat of the deer. I have something of an obsession with animals with horns, and have always loved the image of the stag. I feel he has regal qualities.
