This is one of the smallest landscapes I've ever painted. I had ordered these canvasses mistakenly thinking they were 5x5 inches but when they arrived I discovered my mistake - they were 5x5 cms (approx 2x2 inches!)
I decided to have some fun painting landscapes on them anyway and then found these wonderful little box frames to display them as a way to offer affordable original art that you can hang on your wall (and they look great hanging in a little group if you wanted to add to your collection over time!)
This is a view from the Strath, a tiny single track road passing through the hills on the way from the north coast down towards Inverness.
The frame is made of natural pine and is unstained but you could stain or paint it if you preferred.
