Original artwork description:

This is a listing for an original impressionistic painting of an elephant and an egret. Often nature can be cruel, but sometime it can be really quite lovely when different species work together for their common good. This painting was inspired by the symbiotic relationships found in nature, whereby animals help each other out - each one benefiting from the interaction.

Painted in acrylic paint and ink on a square deep edge canvas measuring 12.5 x 12.5cm it can free stand on a surface or can be hung on a wall. I use both modelling paste and crackle paste alongside the acrylic paint to create a very tactile, textured surface to the canvas.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, acrylic ink, crackle paste and acrylic texture medium
