Original artwork description:

This is an original acrylic painting of one of the planet's hardest working creatures, entitled 'The Worker'.

Painted on a miniature canvas measuring 10 x 10cm, I use both modelling paste and crackle paste alongside the acrylic paint to create a very tactile, textured surface to the canvas. This painting comes framed in a wooden box frame measuring 19.5 x 19.5cm which has been painted in a distressed style with crackle glaze.

Materials used:

acrylic paint, acrylic ink, crackle paste and acrylic texture medium
