This painting was obviously done from a stock image as I have seen the same used in artwork before to varying degrees of success. However, the photo of this piece spoke to me when I came across it and I viewed it regularly for a few days before finally making the purchase and I’m so pleased that I did. When I received the painting I immediately understood why I had been so drawn to it. The detail is superb and I really don’t understand why it hadn’t been snapped up sooner. That said, I’m so pleased that it wasn’t because I now have a piece of original art from a very talented artist that is going to bring me a great deal of joy. There will be a lot of watching you watching me going on! Thank you Nicola.

Hi Suzanne Thank you very much for leaving me a review and I'm delighted the painting brings you joy. You're right in regards to the reference photo - I use a website called Paint my Photo specifically for artists to source reference photos without the worry of copyright infringement and that was one of the many wonderful photos that are uploaded to that site. Nicola has been a brilliant artist to work with - she has been quick to reply to questions, she has kept me informed by messages about the progress of the art work. She ahs coped with my interference at times. The end product is beautiful and has been thoroughly appreciated by its recipient. I would highly recommend Nicola to others. thank you.

A lovely painting with an unusual quality for a sea scene and real delicacy of strokes so it is abstract and colourful and has an almost pointillist effect so it seems to sparkle. Nicola was a pleasure to deal with and kept me up to date. All good. Strongly recommend.

I was lucky enough to come across this painting of Guernsey for sale by doing a Google search. I grew up in Guernsey and wanted something beautiful to place in my daughters' bedroom to represent this part of my heritage. This painting seemed the perfect fit. The painting arrived in good time, safely packaged, nicely gift-wrapped, and with a kind note. It was exactly as described and as pictured on the website. I would certainly buy from Nicola again and have my eye on a few paintings already! Overall, it was a great experience, both with the artist and with Artfinder. Thanks!

This is an absolutely gorgeous little painting! I love the style, texture and the aliveness of it... and the expression in the cat's eyes. I wonder what it is thinking?
