Artist's description:

Living in Florida afforded me countless opportunities to travel throughout the waterways in my canoe. I took thousands of pictures and worked hard to improve my skills with acrylics, a new medium on the market. It wasn't until I arrived in NYC that I found a small company doing research into the medium and making thickeners and extenders. I tried some but went back to water and varnish since I got a more oil paint quality with those. This little painting captures and humidity of the state especially as the sun goes down. It was my favorite time of the day.

These recent works are part of the Artwork A Day Collection, parts one and two. Please feel free to visit the group on these links.
