An enchanting oil painting of a female figure amongst the myriad of nature’s colours. The starlings are pulled to her presence from the airy acrobatics of their swirling murmuration. I have drawn inspiration from Emily Dickinson’s poem “Hope” is the Thing with feathers.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tunes without the words -
And never stops - at all -

This painting is ready to hang, as it has been painted on canvas and varnished to protect the paint surface. It is signed on the front, and a catalogued certificate of authenticity is attached to the reverse.
