Moeciu is the name of a village (holiday destination), situated in the Bucegi Mountains National Park Romania, between two provinces: Transylvania and Romanian Country, not far from the Bran Castle, (13 km) which was built in 1377 as part of the Transylvanian defense system against Ottoman Empire. The castle is a "must see" often referred to as mythical Dracula's castle. Situated in a picturesque geographical set apart with an exceptional landscape perspective, the areas bordering with a strong historical meaning. Moeciu is the ideal starting point for small trips in the numerous sights of interest. Pine forests creates a large ozone concentration in the air. Ski enthusiasts can reach in few minutes by car the new slope in Bran, or they can go to Poiana Brasov ski resort. Moeciu is also famous for the home made smoked cheese and cheese in tree bark. Every mill here tastes better being home made and pure biological. My painting represents the beautiful view which was taken from the road to Moeciu.
