Inspired by taking a turn down the wrong street. Unknown grafitti. Motor oil stains on the concrete and finding beauty in the mundane. At 11"x14" this piece is small. But it packs a lot of punch through many layers of thick paint in bright colors, gel textures, long strings of contrasting paint adorning in contrast like delicate jewels and a rough underpainting of warm earth tones. Unexpected and complex.
