Artist's description:

During nighttime change our perceptions with the external environment, we can perceive our being and our body as an entity different from the activities of daily life, we are capable of finding ourselves alone with ourselves, and process thoughts , idealizing events and seeking solutions. The figures in nightlife contexts are isolated from any animated entity and become an integral part of the entire universe. Only in this silent phase they begin to resurface thoughts, memory.
Memento Mori represented the woman embraces with intensity a skull, while assumes a fetal position, explicit references to life and death.
This embrace is the awareness of the end of a life and the continued another, and the latter in its turn will take the same place. A flux that becomes cyclical.
The work is a study of human memory, a journey inside the human emotions, and the red dress want to mark even more the passion of the figure, becoming itself a button and lifeblood.
