Artist's description:

MeiHua means plum blossom, a flower resemble the character of resilience, strength, new hope in the oriental culture. The blossom branches were used to decorate the house during the new year celebration as a symbol of happiness, goodwill and prosperity.

I have been painting using splattering method combined with fluid acrylic for number of years now. I thought to myself how would it be if I use my method to paint a traditional oriental painting, so I started to splatter on my canvas a branch of plum blossoms. Here is one of the plum blossom series.

The sides of the canvas were painted with continuation of the subject. The painting was coated with acrylic gel and UV resistant satin varnish. The back is strung with wire and ready for hanging without a frame. In case you prefer the painting to be framed, you can order it from this site with separate charges for it, and the shipping time will be take longer.

Certificate of Authenticity will come with the purchase.

Materials used:
