Artist's description:

The couple seen in The Exchange and Night Walkers are now at an abandoned station, waiting for a train that will not come: there is a wall. This is an observation of our species; we wall and partition repeating our history in a never-ending cycle of idiocy. Inspired by a recent trip to Berlin and former Eastern bloc countries, Many Small Places shows a part of the Berlin wall on which is inscribed an African Proverb that roughly translates as "Many small people who in many small places do many small things that can alter the world". Despite the couple listlessly waiting for a train that isn't coming, there is a message of hope.
