Artist's description:

The vernal pathways leading from empty cocoons of the earthworm.

This piece is an attempt to capture a still of water flowing over an edge and down into itself.
The technique I've developed lends itself to capturing the bubbles created by rapidly aerated liquids. By flushing the acrylic with air and paint, the finished version succeeds in capturing both the texture and fluidity of agitation.

Arrives framed with a white mat in a black wooden frame.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint on paper with brushes and sponges
