In the dark days of lockdown, I wanted to make some cheerful figures! I decided to make some little ladies and to use the brightest, most harmonious colours I could, to create something hopeful and uplifting. I made five little ladies and this is the fourth. She is sculpted in stoneware clay, fired to 1250 degrees, painted with underglaze colours and glazed with a transparent glaze. she will make you smile!
