Original artwork description:

This is a small abstract figure that I made after I found an amazing bone on the shores of a lake in New Zealand! It was such a strange anthropomorphic shape and I made three bone-like figures based on it. This is the smallest. It has a rather quirky look and some people think it looks as though she is screaming, though I don't see it like that. Just looking a bit quizzical. She was built solid in crank craft clay, and then partly hollowed to enable safe firing to stoneware temperature. I decided not to add any colour as I liked the rather antique look of the toasted clay. She would be fine either inside or outside.
