A plein air painting invitation to a fellow artist's backyard provided plenty of subject matter. I set up in a great spot until the sun came up over the trees and I couldn't see a thing--not my paints, not my painting, not the scene. I tried my umbrella for some shade but no luck. I had it blocked in, but opted to take photos, watch other artists paint, and finish this in the studio.
This 6x8" acrylic painting would look great in a frame or on an easel on a shelf or table unframed. I use my paints as when I oil paint so they have the same look as oils. It is signed on the lower right.
