Artist's description:

The summer in this part of the desert is the rainy season and my very favorite weather. We enjoy an average of 352 days of sunshine a year but only an annual rainfall of 8 inches. (Although the last two years, that has only been four inches.) The skies that this weather pattern creates are dramatic and inspirational. And, I always want to paint it. (What can I say--I'm a transplanted Seattle gal and rain excites me!!)
This painting is an attempt to capture our July weather. The colors are complex and layered, not easy to capture its richness in a photo.
Fall in love and grab some bright colorful skies from the Land of Enchantment. Please contact me for more reasonable shipping options or any other questions you may have.
