India's favourite God,Ganesha!
He is known by several names one of which is Gajanana- the one with the elephant face.
The underlying texture is gesso and moulding paste. I have also tried to add texturing and shading using small indian lotus motifs all across the canvas. I think I will try it on my future paintings 😊

Gesso, butter paper, molding paste, acrylic, stretched canvas, dark mahogany with gold piping frame
