Artist's description:

I've always found the color variations on skin to be fascinating and in this study I tried to emphasize the difference between the red face, arms and legs and the yellows and pinks in the rest of the body.

The drawing is made with a particular kind of colored pencil with a solvent selectively applied to create a watercolor-like effect.

Proper disclosure:
For the purist it might be worth noting that this was an exercise in figure drawing from a photograph rather than from life.

Materials used:

Pencils, solvent on regular cartridge paper.
