First of the pop-art wine series features Duckhorn MERLOT from Three Palms Vineyard in Napa California.
Acrylic painting on stretched canvas. Sides are painted white and hardware is attached so it's ready to hang! Features a blonde woman leaving San Francisco with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. She is standing up through the moonroof of the YNO LIMO and the Merlot wine is flying.
Every weekend the roads here in Northern California are filled with people who are escaping San Francsico for a fun getaway weekend. Plus we have travelers who are arriving here from all around the world to visit beautiful Sonoma and Napa counties, lovingly called "wine country". It's quite common to see Limousines filled with people enroute to wine tasting events. Here in Sonoma county where I live, there are almost 60,000 acres of vineyards and more than 425 wineries! That's a butt ton-load of wineries!
Prost! Cheers! Salute! Skol!
I had SO MUCH FUN creating this, there's even a video on my instagram of me dancing while painting this (I'm wine fueled of course) check it out!
