Artist's description:

What painter wouldn't wish to paint a parrot, these fabulous birds representing congeniality, fidelity and confidence and surprise. We are lucky such creatures exist. Like all birds they carry their home with them in a brilliant plume of feathers and only resort to architecture when they wish to lay eggs. The 'eclectus' parrot is found in the forests of New Guinea, Northern Australia, eastern Indonesia islands and the islands of the south west Pacific. Painted in acrylic including a pour of fluid paint for the background.

Materials used:

stretched canvas
