Artist's description:

Why not the eclectus? What artist painter wouldn't wish to paint a parrot, the parrot generally representing fidelity and intelligence in the pantheon of human emotion, will and endeavor so I'm happily surprised such birds exist in the forests around New Guinea across to the eastern Indonesia islands and back east again to the Solomon Islands. The race depicted now is from the northern Australian Cape York forests. Painted in acrylic by myself the canvas is unframed and can be sent in a firmly constructed parcel with protection, weight and size in mind.
