Artist's description:

This gorgeous very spiky plant is from my garden, and it really is this shade of blue. I love the architectural form and colours, and the bees love it too. To show off the blues I've used metallic silver ink for some of the plant, and the border.

This is an 8 colour lino reduction print; one block of lino is used for the print, progressively adding colour layers with more of the lino cut away each time, until there is very little left of the lino block. You can see some of the making of this print in the 'me at work' section. As each print is individually made by hand there are minor variations making each print unique. Printed with water based light fast ink on 280 gsm Somerset soft white satin acid free paper. Signed and numbered on the front in pencil in an edition of only 10 prints. Supplied in a soft white mount, it will pop straight into a standard 12'' x 12'' frame.

Delivered with protective acid free tissue paper in a strong postal box. UK delivery by Royal Mail 1st class signed for. International items are sent Royal Mail tracked & signed; outside of EU and America there may be local duty / tax, if so this is payable by the buyer.
