If you've happened to see my other little abstract cityscape entitled 'rain in the city' you'll be aware of the backstory. If not, well, I broke my wrist and during that time I was frustratingly unable to paint so I decided to paint with my non-dominant hand instead.
So, this is the second in the series and, like before, it's an imaginary scene painted in a very abstract style.
It's painted in acrylic using an impasto technique with a palette knife to create lovely thick texture.
The little box frame is in natural wood which can be left as it is or varnished/painted if you prefer.
