"Colourful orchard - Diptych, 2017" by Maja Grecic

"My orchards are rich in colour, semi-abstract, energetic and dynamic. Orchards have been my inspiration for years. They are a link to my homeland. Reminiscence of apple and peach trees by the banks of Danube on a summer day, or in early spring when shadows are low and soft, warms up my soul on a cold and rainy day."

"Whoosh" by Chris Walker

"I was intrigued by the patterns made by a set of swings. In this painting, I wanted to express the freedom of playing on swings with the movement as the swingers whoosh past each other. So, I chose to paint it loosely and quickly without great detail. I left a group of parents and a flower bed as stationary anchors. The parents are representative of the stable protection of the children and the flowers echo the joy."

"flying, 2017" by Tianyin Wang

"Drawing is the honesty of art. There is no possibility of cheating. It is either good or bad. It is pure and elegant. This is why I always enjoy drawing. I used several types of charcoal on this piece to provide a rich grey tone. The flexible way of using charcoal power was the most enjoyable part. I think it worked well to capture the movement."

"A Glimpse of Heaven" by Eva Volf

"'A Glimpse of Heaven' captures my impressions from wandering the beach being immersed in the humbling beauty of here and now. Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most (Buddha)."

"The Invisible Folly Nº 5" by Sara Richardson Artist

"The Invisible Folly No.5 is part of a large group of contemporary landscape paintings. This piece is one of my favorites to date from the series. The Invisible Folly series explores drama through contrasting visual elements with an idea I've been developing... creating connections with suggestions and hints rather than literal interpretations to tell a story. Technically, the series seeks the interesting spaces that develops between heavily textured paint, palette knife handling, blade scrapes, and soft glazing."

"Secret Forest" by Mila Moroko

"If you need a small piece of magic to fill your everyday life, just make an amazing trip to the closest forest and stay there as long as you need to feel calm and relaxed. You will notice how many fantastic secrets and puzzles the forest keeps. You might solve some of its mysteries or just appreciate this magical moment of your life."

"Fille dans une ombre feuillue" by Aaron Knight

"A woman lays in the shadow of a palm tree. This bodyscape has her back turned towards us, one leg tucked under the other, an arm reaches over her head. Hard leaf shadows in midday sun barely greet the edge of her body. A thick black shadow outlines the contours of the other edge of her body. Small specks of sand stipple her back. The composition is rendered in warm, almost monochromatic, shades. Photographed on Harbour Island, The Bahamas."

"Streets of San Francisco" by Adriana Dziuba

"This is just one of many every day scenes of atmospheric San Francisco at dusk. I love the way traffic lights of the busy city are reflecting in the wet road surface. I find it really beautiful and charming."

"The Ramblers Garden no2" by Colette Baumback

"This is the second in the series of paintings inspired by the wonderful Kent countryside where I live. Everyday I pass along the country lane and see an abundance of wildflowers amid the grasses. To me, it is the perfect summer scene. Natures own garden created for everyone to enjoy!"
