"Irises" by Alexander Koltakov

"I cut those flowers on a wonderful sunny summer day in my front yard... I brought them home... They pulled with them the sun into my house. They pulled with them the sun onto my canvas."

"Mystery" by Conni Reinecke

"Sometimes there are every day mysteries and sometimes it can take lifetimes to understand something... once in a while a mystery goes unsolved completely. I feel this painting represents many of our mysteries. Mysteries like the wonders of the universe to exploring the sea to the endless possibilities of what pigment will do when mixed with a water design. On a more personal note, mysteries of where watercolor will take me in the future and what journeys lie ahead... it is all represented here."

"Soaring Above" by Eva Volf

"It`s beneficial to take a moment and step back from everything that you are currently dealing with and look at it from a different angle. Soaring above like a seagull you can find creative new ways to move forward and enrich your life."

"Others" by Rich Ray Art

"What do the others want? I am here to help. Many times it is unclear and then I awaken with the answer. Most often it is best left unsaid. For the faith inside you carries the prayer. The stronger you believe, the bigger the wings. The others will receive it either way."

"Impulse" by Maria Cunha

"There are times energy catches on fire and we can become impulsive. We take a risk we ordinarily wouldn’t have if we had given it much thought but it can take us on quite an adventure. There are times our impulsive nature can generate energy that creates some chaos while bringing a lot of changes and lessons. Sometimes, in the midst of it all, you make a discovery you otherwise would have never encountered or considered."

"the purest kind of friendship" by Niki Raad

"What really makes me interested in this piece is the feeling that both are cute, pure, and innocent. A smile is inevitable and everyone can experience a great feeling just by looking at their friendship."

"The Pump Room, Bath, 2017" by Beth lievesley

“I was inspired to choose the historic Pump Room in Bath for 2 reasons. Firstly, it is an iconic part of the Bath cityscape and secondly it features in Jane Austen’s novels Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. 17th July 2017 marks the 200th year anniversary of Jane Austen’s death, a perfect reason for me to make a piece of art that celebrates her work, her links to Bath and the city itself.”

"SUMMER MEMORIES" by Rosalind Roberts

"Summer memories of seagulls squawking, little waves lapping at our feet and the hot sun kissing our skin. The squeal of children tasting the freedom to run and play and wonder at the beauty of the world, with Mum and Dad close by and the promise of ice-cream on the horizon."

"Dandelion" by Elena Kraft

"When I was a little child, my mom told me this story: Take a dandelion in your hand and watch time exactly. There are quite a lot of little hairy flight umbrellas sitting huddled together, waiting for the moment when there journey finally starts. Imagine you are one of them. You are excitedly waiting for someone to come over, who blows you away. You are partly flying through the air and have no more worries, because up here you're free. The wind carries you far away from here, to a place where no one knows you. No obligations. There is nothing you have to do quickly. You're just free. Eventually, you are tired and you fall on the meadow. Here you can rest while the sunlight shines on you. You sleep well like never before and you are dreaming of the adventures you have experienced on your flight. This meadow will be your home, as long as you do not became a large dandelion yourself and you will be picked by a person who sends your kids on their great journey."

"Solstice" by Bev Jones

"This painting was inspired by a very cold but sunny Saturday visit to Crystal Palace food market in South London. The market is organised by the Crystal Palace Transition Town Group which aims to promote sustainability in the local economy. It's a great example of both community building and economic change and I wanted to show it in the painting to stress a sense of positive connection between people and nature."
