    Beautiful soft sunlight is streaming into my studio today, and I am loving all these Spring colours on my palette πŸŒΈπŸƒI feel in a sort of transitionary phase this week...finishing current paintings, yet aspiring to clean white canvases waiting for fresh paint and new compositions to evolve.

    I am loving getting stuck into mixing fresh buttery paint, applying new layers and texture to my latest Spring-inspired canvases. Right now my studio feels so refreshing and energised with the colours of Spring, I may just have to spend some time in here over the weekend! πŸ’šπŸŒΏ

    Back home, feeling refreshed, restored and inspired from my travels, armed with a wonderful new collection of sea studies. Full of visual memories and expressive mark making, I'm ready to create new artworks coming soon πŸ’™ For now, it's so good to be back in my studio to continue working on the Spring-inspired paintings I left a few weeks ago 🌿

    Catching the waves...

    There's a stunning beach here called Half Moon Bay and it's protected by Antigua's national park scheme, so it's just the natural coastline. Crescent-shaped with the finest white sand and clear water, and there are big rolling waves crashing on the rocks at the edge of the bay. I love to paint here trying to capture the incredible power and energy of the ocean, exploring my response to this wondrous element of nature πŸ’™πŸŒŠ
