    This has to be the colour I love most! It is the most gorgeous aqua shade πŸ’«It manages to makes it's way into most of my paintings, and always feels light and harmonious, and it's definitely going to feature in my new series of Spring-themed paintings 🌿 Do you have a favourite colour that you just can't get enough of?

    Beautiful sunshine here today which always lifts the spirit at the start of this brand new week of 2017! It's so good to be back in my studio preparing to start new Springtime inspired paintings. Lush healthy greens are my palette, full of vitality and freshness πŸŒΏπŸ’š

    Since I moved into my new studio last July it has provided such a wonderful creative space to work in, and the perfect setting for open studio events both in the Summer and Autumn to Christmas season. A BIG beautiful thank you to all my lovely visitors and customers this year for your wonderful support and for sharing your time with me and my art. And, of course to my Artfinder customers too! 😍 It means a great deal to me as an artist πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸΌ

    It's such a busy time of year, and it's wonderful to celebrate with family and friends...but what I would really love is more time to just to play with my treasured paints, mixing and creating new shades; exploring new paintings and the possibilities they bring.     Over the last few weeks my studio has been buzzing with activity! Invitation flyers (pictured) have been designed and printed, and I have a new collection of gift items including tableware and stationery, and of course new paintings too!     Progress on my latest series of paintings continues, inspired by the soft sunlight of these warm September days as Summer gives way to Autumn. Golden grasses, soft peachy tones and warm greens are the colours I see as I look around the harvested fields. There's a little more to do on this one πŸ’›πŸŽ¨
