Artist's description:

This drawing was executed directly on glass - fine, 1mm-thick crystal-clear glass. It was drawn in Gozo, the little 14th-century island near Malta in the Medditeranean. The island is a fabulous, small community of yellow-stone built dwellings, many of which are partially in ruin... unlike its inhabitants, who, generally, are full of life...

This is a drawing of a figure at one such ruined window, alive, quiet, and wondering.

Materials used:

glass, ink
